Requirements for an Internship with Advantage Health

  • College credit seeking student

  • Must be at least of Junior standing

Important Dates for Upcoming Semesters

 

The Spring/Summer 2010 Internship semester begins May 4 and ends August 4. Please apply by March 12.

The Fall 2010 Internship semester begins August 23 and ends December 10. Please apply by July 2. 



Program Details

All of our interns are treated as regular staff members. Each goes through an orientation program, receives a written job description, is assigned a mentor, and is invited to participate in meetings and activities specific to their department or building. Interns fill a vital role in our organizational structure. This is an unpaid internship. However, in lieu of monetary compensation we offer other benefits to our interns including experience. Each semester (Fall, Winter, Spring/Summer), Advantage Health extends internship opportunities to college students. The internship descriptions and positions change and evolve to meet the needs of the organization as well as our student interns. Currently, we offer these intern positions:

     Finance

     Human Resources                           

     Administration

     Risk Management

     Practice Management

     Graphic Design/Marketing

     Employee Wellness
