BOTOX® & Dysport

BOTOX

What is BOTOX?

A natural, purified protein, BOTOX is an FDA approved, non-surgical option that is much safer and less invasive than most face-lift procedures. A single BOTOX treatment will successfully diminish moderate to severe wrinkles on the forehead, around the eyes and between the brows for up to four months.

How does it work?

With a few tiny injections, administered by our trained physicians and registered nurses, BOTOX relaxes the muscles that cause the skin to crease. Once the muscles are at rest, the skin becomes smoother, creating a more natural and relaxed appearance.

What can I expect?

Treatments typically involve several simple injections that take around ten-minutes to perform. There is no “down time” with the procedure, and minimal side effects. Within days of the treatment you will see a noticeable change in appearance that can last up to four months.

Dysport

What is Dysport?

Prescription Dysport is an injection used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows of those 65 years or younger. Similar to BOTOX, it works by relaxing facial muscles to reduce and smooth away frown-lines and wrinkles. The procedure is the same and there is little to no downtime after injection.

How does Dysport differ from BOTOX?

Dysport consists of the same basic ingredient as BOTOX and has proven to be equal to or more effective for certain wrinkle areas. In some instances Dysport may be more effective than BOTOX, as effects are reported to occur in as little as 2 days, and can last up to six months.
